The gushing water and the greenery on the banks serve beauty to the place in an enticing fashion. The climbers and adventure seeking folks simply love the challenges offered by the tempting dense forest.

The fall is not too deep but in certain places, especially towards the middle can trick you out of your wits. So, it’s safe to take cool dips in the water in the shallow area. Good swimmers can try the challenge of swimming against the stream. It’s a regular trekking venue. The fall is near Mala Parashuram temple which is just 2 kms away. To reach the upper section of the fall you will have to walk another 2 kms. During rainy season the size of the fall doubles and somewhat resembles the Abbi falls of Coorg. For accommodation decent hotels are available near by the forest. They provide great trekking packages too. However, you will find fewer motorways to reach the falls.
